What You'll Do Execute Blue Cross NC's enterprise sourcing strategy to achieve millions in annual savings and meet established targets. Act as the authoritative advocate for Blue Cross NC when engaging with suppliers on business needs, requirements, and expectations. Lead roadmap discussions and executive engagement to define sourcing strategies for critical business capabilities. Analyze and forecast complex market dynamics, sharing insights and industry expertise within the strategic portfolio of products and services. Conduct comprehensive sourcing events with strategic suppliers, including development of detailed project work plans and evaluation criteria. Innovate solutions and proposals, executing sourcing events that balance supply continuity, cost, and delivery to meet business requirements. Create and implement diverse bid documents and requests (RFP, RFI, RFQ) while managing status reporting and performance metrics for strategic vendors. Collaborate with stakeholders to source products and services using proven analytics and processes to drive business results. Evaluate sourcing results through a total cost of ownership lens and provide insightful optimization recommendations. Participate in cross-functional teams for complex vendor negotiations, managing specialized subject matter expertise and multifaceted arrangements. Oversee supplier relationship management and performance for the largest, most complex suppliers from both operational and risk management perspectives. Establish and nurture productive relationships with vendor personnel, enhancing vendor engagement through both formal and informal interactions. What You Bring Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred. 8+ years of experience in a related field, or 10+ years without a degree. Salary Range Blue Cross NC is committed to equitable compensation. Our starting salaries are typically in the mid-range of $107,901.00 - $172,642.00, influenced by experience, specialized skills, and organizational needs.
