Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all financial reporting, general ledger operations, and month-end close processes. Manage and enhance cost accounting systems, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation. Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, monitoring performance against financial targets. Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial data integrity. Analyze manufacturing variances (material, labor, overhead) and provide actionable insights to operations management. Provide financial analysis for capital expenditures, product profitability, and strategic initiatives. Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements for financial reporting. Recommended Qualifications5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience in a manufacturing environment. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA highly preferred. Expertise in cost accounting, inventory valuation, and standard costing methodologies. Proven proficiency with major ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel. Strong understanding of GAAP and experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Bonus QualificationsExperience with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies. Proficiency in advanced data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Prior experience with ERP system implementation or significant optimization projects. Familiarity with international financial reporting standards (IFRS) or multi-currency operations.
