Facilities Technician II Plymouth MN 55442 Duration 6 months Shift: 2:00 PM to 10: 30 PM This position is Non-Exempt. Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half. Maintains facilities, facilities HVAC systems and equipment in order to provide a safe, efficient and comfortable workplace. Responsibilities include operation, repair, and preventative maintenance of all building facilities and equipment; move and installation of equipment and or furniture; and other related duties. Main Responsibilities: Provides maintenance, mechanical and electrical performance for the facilities and utilities equipment at the site including: Vacuum, Compressed Air, Emergency Generation, Power, City and Well Water, HVAC Equipment. (Weight:20%) Contact suppliers and outside vendors to maintain a complete stock of spare parts for the equipment under the Facilities and Utilities scope. (Weight: 5%) Establish and execute the right maintenance procedures and frequencies based on equipment manufacture's operation and maintenance manuals, recommendations and equipment reliability history. (Weight:15%) Report results to the appropriate piers and clients (inside/outside facilities) on a frequent basis. (Weight:10%) Administer the computerized system of preventive maintenance (IFOR EAM). (Weight:20%) Coordinate with outside contractors and vendor's miscellaneous work related to the scope mentioned above. (Weight:10%) Must have experience and be a member of the Emergency Response Team. (Weight:5%) Ensure compliance with all Client procedures and all applicable regulatory agency requirements. (Weight:10%) Other duties as assigned. (Weight: 5%) Intake Call Notes below: Facilities & Utilities Maintenance • Operate, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on facility systems including HVAC, vacuum systems, compressed air, emergency generators, power distribution, and city/well water. Inventory & Vendor Management • Contact suppliers and vendors to maintain a full stock of spare parts for facilities and utilities equipment. Maintenance Procedures • Establish and execute proper maintenance procedures and schedules based on manufacturer recommendations, equipment manuals, and reliability data. Reporting • Provide regular maintenance reports and operational updates to peers, management, and internal/external customers. Preventative Maintenance System Administration • Administer and maintain documentation within the computerized maintenance management system (IFOR EAM). Contractor Coordination • Coordinate assigned work with contractors and vendors related to facilities and utilities operations. Emergency Response • Serve as an active member of the Emergency Response Team; prior experience required. Compliance • Ensure all work complies with Client procedures and applicable regulatory requirements. Other Duties • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned. Training • First 3 weeks on 1st shift Top 5 Preferred Skills (Not Required but Highly Preferred) 1. Facilities maintenance experience - minimum of 3 years 2. Experience using CMM systems 3. Boiler certification 4. Universal Refrigeration License 5. Proficiency in Excel spreadsheets Education Requirements • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a facilities-related discipline • Required: High school diploma or GED #TB_EN #ZRHC
