POSITION OVERVIEW In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining our restaurant's cleanliness and hygiene. You'll take pride in upholding impeccable standards of cleanliness and organization. UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS Wear a clean, TP black hat with the brim facing forward. Ensure your hair is neat and contained under the TP hat. Maintain a clean-shaven appearance, managing beards and mustaches. Keep fingernails trimmed and clean. Avoid wearing jewelry on the face, neck, or wrists. No headphones or earbuds while on duty. Wear a clean TP kitchen shirt tucked in and free of wrinkles or fading. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Consistently follow uniform standards. Maintain cleanliness following our restaurant policies and procedures. Organize and clean all workstations and equipment. Adhere to safety, sanitation, and GHS standards. Collaborate effectively with team members. Utilize training materials available on tablets or computers. Excel in a fast-paced environment. Assist in opening and closing duties, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning tables. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Prior experience as a janitor or busser is highly preferred. LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS Strong communication skills in English are essential, with a solid understanding of cleaning and sanitizing protocols. REASONING SKILLS The ability to follow straightforward instructions and manage routine tasks effectively. TRAINING REQUIREMENTS Participation in an orientation is required, along with compliance with our policies and procedures, and completion of any necessary training related to food and alcohol service certifications. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This position involves regular standing, walking, and lifting objects up to 15 pounds. Vision capabilities should include close, peripheral, and depth perception. WORK ENVIRONMENT You should expect exposure to kitchen fumes, wet conditions, and cleaning chemicals. Some locations may have smoking sections, which could expose you to cigarette smoke.
