Utilizes cardiac monitoring equipment and interprets cardiac rhythms. Maintains an organized and clean work environment. Responds in emergency situations. Education And Credentials HS diploma or GED required. AAS in a healthcare related field preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 6 months of hire. National Telemetry Association, NTA Telemetry Certification required within 12 months of hire into a Monitor Tech position. Experience 1 year of experience in a hospital setting with bedside clinical experience required. 1 year of experience as a monitor tech or related experience preferred. 1 year of experience as an EMT preferred.
