Java Developer w/ SDET

Akkodis is seeking a Java Developer w/ SDET for a Contract with a client in Sunnyvale, CA/Austin, TX. This position involves full SDLC participation and troubleshooting complex production issues to ensure highquality, reliable solutions . Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Java Developer w/ SDET job responsibilities include: Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable and secure Java applications using Core Java and Spring Framework. Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices, ensuring high performance and reliability. Write clean, efficient, and welldocumented code aligned with industry best practices and coding standards. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and deployment. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues, identifying root causes and implementing longterm solutions. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, enhancing development processes, tools, automation, and code quality. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience). Minimum of 5+ years of professional Java development experience (8-10 years preferred for senior-level roles). Strong expertise in Core Java (Java 8+) and Spring Framework including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and JPA/Hibernate.
