Job Responsibilities Discusses the comprehensive school counseling program work plan with the school administrators and the supervising director to work collaboratively with staff to implement a comprehensive school counseling program. Guidance Curriculum: Provides leadership and collaborates with other educators in the school-wide integration of the State Guidance curriculum standards for student development. Implements developmentally appropriate and prevention-oriented group activities to meet student's needs and school goals. Assists all students, individually or in groups, with developing academic, career and personal/social skills, goals, and plans. Minimum and Additional Requirements Must have a Master's Degree and Licensure by the SC Department of Education in Guidance-Elementary or Secondary or Associate Guidance - Secondary or Secondary Advance; and two (2) years' experience teaching or counseling. Must have knowledge of the communication and cultural issues related to serving sensory impaired individuals. Additional Comments If selected for an interview you must provide verification of your highest level of education (e.i., copy of BA Degree, high school diploma, college transcripts) and if applicable, licensure and/or certification (e.i., nursing licensure, teacher licensure, bus driver certification).
