Certified Nursing Assistant, ICU (Summer Temp)

Purpose of Position Nursing Assistant Performs as a member of the Nursing Team various duties assisting Staff Nurses in the treatment and care of patients in accordance with established policies and procedures. Description Practices according to entity mandatory requirements. Practices according to department expectations. Practices with a Customer Service approach to all activities. Provides care for patients according to facility/agency, Joint Commission, and the law. Provides care as part of the interdisciplinary team. Documents according to facility/agency and department policies. Prioritizes duties according to patient and department needs. Meets the needs of the patient/family using internal and external resources. Uses appropriate physical resources/equipment in a safe manner. Addresses age-specific needs of infants, toddlers, school age, adolescents, adults, older adults. Provides quality care for patients. Performs room maintenance duties. Performs administrative and other duties as needed. Consistently provides service excellence to all patients, family members, visitors, volunteers and co-workers in a manner that reflects Falmouth Hospital's commitment to CARES: compassion, accountability, respect, excellence and service. Qualifications • Must be a Certifies Nursing Assistant. • High school diploma or general education degree (GED). • Reads, Speaks, Writes in English.
