Job description: Hinsdale Surgery Center (Hinsdale, IL) is hiring a Full Time ( 4 days 10 hour shifts). CNA position; will need current CPR certification. No weekends or holidays, daytime hours vary according to surgery schedule. Required: State certification up to date and in good standing CPR and computer skills Excellent interpersonal skills At least one year of clinical experience Preferred: ASC experience General duties include: Maintains the area, equipment, and level of supplies Provides and gives cooperative and courteous service to patients, staff, visitors, and others as part of the organization's commitment to quality services. Works effectively as part of the healthcare team to facilitate the unit's ability to meet its goals and objectives. Readies Operating Rooms, Preoperative, PACU for next days surgeries. Clerical Duties as directed Assists the Pre Op nurse with patient safety while in the Preoperative Area, and with duties related to the smooth operation of the Pre-Operative or Holding Areas. Assists Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) nurse with patient safety while in the PACU until the patient is dismissed from the facility. Assists the PACU nurse in patient discharge teaching and with duties related to the smooth operation of the PACU. Other duties as assigned.
