Includes coordinating and directing the design, planning, construction, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, building, and other facilities by performing the essential functions and major responsibilities personally or through subordinate supervisors. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily - other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Support yearly business plan by maintaining P&L focus at the facility level. Develops programs to promote world-class safety performance. Manages the plant environmental compliance program through an EH&S leader. Manages subordinate plant managers and other department leaders who supervise employees in the Safety Department, Manufacturing Department, Inventory Control/Purchasing Departments, Shipping Department and Op Ex Manager. Carries out manager responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Plans, budgets, and schedules facilities modifications including cost estimates, cost justifications, bid sheets, layouts, and contracts for construction and acquisitions in capital projects. Develops long-range plans, conceptual designs, and capital outlay requirements and documentation for the facilities. Oversees and directs maintenance personnel and workers engaged in equipment installation, facilities equipment repair, and preventive maintenance. Administers the performance review program in conjunction with Human Resources to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization. Administers salary administration program in conjunction with Human Resources to ensure compliance and equity within organization. Coordinates production, distribution, and warehousing in accordance with company policies, principles and procedures. Directs initiatives to ensure that product quality meets or exceeds company standards and customer expectations. Tracks daily leading indicators as well as monthly key performance indicators to understand gaps to targets with action plans to address deficiencies. Review production costs and modifies production and inventory control programs to maintain and enhance profitable operation of plants. Monitors and updates product BOM's, forms/sub forms, production departments and labor codes in Titan. Verify and approves all daily production, scrap and adjustment registers in Titan operating system. Develops monthly business review material to demonstrate grasp of business along with actions that are necessary and sufficient to deliver expected results. Drives annual capital plan through plant managers and if needed, utilizing NW Pipe engineering resources to support Directs preparation of accounting records. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratio, and proportions to practical situations. Exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Firm grasp of lean management tools and methods along with their application; working knowledge of lean tools such as 5S, one piece flow, Kanban, PFEP, SMED to name a few and where and how to apply these tools. Experience in all areas of Titan operating system. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
