Job Title Project Manager (MHS Logistics) Job Type Full-time Category Information Technology Education Bachelor's Degree Location Mandex Charleston - Charleston, SC 29418 US (Primary) Travel 0 - 10% Job Description Project Manager (MHS Logistics) North Charleston, SC On-site Salary Range: $45.67-$57.69 per hour MANDEX currently has a need for an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Charleston, SC. This individual will lead our DHA ITS III program Logistics and Procurement Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project logistics, procurement, and cradle-to-grave management of Government Furnished Property (GFP). This role requires a combination of strong leadership skills, logistic and procurement expertise, and a thorough understanding of the management of GFP. The Logistics and Procurement Project Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our supply chain and project delivery. Your future duties and responsibilities: Logistics Management: Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of logistics operations, including inventory management, transportation, and warehousing. Procurement Planning: Develop procurement strategies and plans to support project requirements, ensuring timely acquisition of goods and services while optimizing costs. Project Management: Lead cross-functional project teams to ensure successful execution of logistics and procurement projects, from initiation to completion. Supplier Management: Identify and evaluate suppliers, and establish strong relationships to ensure quality, cost-effective procurement of materials and services. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to logistics and procurement activities. Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures governing logistics/procurement activities and GFP, including Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD policies. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare or provide oversight on monthly status reports (inventory and financial), bi-annual GFE status reports, and provide planning, programming, and budgeting input as needed. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in logistics management, procurement, and project management, preferably in a government contracting environment. Strong understanding of logistics principles, practices, and processes, with experience in defense life-cycle logistics support. Proven track record of successfully managing procurement projects, including supplier selection and performance management. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams and communicate with stakeholders at all levels. Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards governing logistics/procurement activities and GFP, including FAR and DoD procurement policies. Working knowledge of CMPro (Navy ERP and Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment [PIEE] a plus), preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and online collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Education: Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) and/or logistics (e.g., DUA) preferred. Security Level: Must be eligible for, or able to obtain, a clearance.
