Position Description: CGI is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP Fiori UX Consultant/Developer to support an SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementation project for a large government contract in the public sector. As a Senior Developer, you will be involved in every stage of the application lifecycle, from design to deployment. You will be responsible for converting user requirements into Technical Design Specifications and developing solutions that align with these designs. You may also lead or guide other developers in maintainable development practices and during code reviews. This project operates in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that leverages Agile/Scrum methodology to quickly build solutions based on customer requirements. You are encouraged to learn new technologies and recommend improvements to business processes. Success in this role will be achieved through your strong technical skills, proactive problem-solving, ability to learn quickly, and excellent communication with our clients. This position is located in one of CGI Federal's offices in Fairfax, VA, Lebanon, VA, Lafayette, LA or Knoxville, TN; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to work in a CGI Federal office two days per week. Your future duties and responsibilities: • Create intuitive and user-friendly SAP Fiori applications tailored to enhance the user experience within the S/4HANA environment. • Work closely with functional and technical teams to analyze requirements and ensure seamless integration of UX designs with backend processes. • Implement best practices to optimize the performance and responsiveness of user interfaces, ensuring a smooth and efficient user experience. • Perform development, performance analysis, testing, issue analysis, triage, debugging, job scheduling, execution, monitoring, and issue resolution. • Develop SAP Fiori applications using the HTML5 development toolkit based on JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5. • Develop SAP OData entities using SAP Gateway Service Builder for consumption by applications outside SAP using the HTTP(s) protocol. • Participate in the analysis of customer business operations to validate requirements and scope, and recommend process improvements. • Convert business-critical requirements into effective SAP applications that align with organizational goals. • Develop and maintain SAP design and technical specification documents, and conduct unit, integration, and release testing to validate functionality. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: • Due to the nature of the contract requirements, U.S. citizenship and successful completion of a CGI background check are required prior to beginning work. In addition, candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD/Public Trust clearance. • Minimum of 9 years of experience in SAP Fiori/UI5 implementations across various SAP versions. • Hands-on experience integrating backend SAP and non-SAP applications. • Hands-on experience in SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 custom development. • Expertise in configuring standard Fiori applications and enhancing Fiori apps according to client requirements. • Experience in SAP Gateway and OData Services for UI5 development. • Hands-on experience with SAP development and CDS. • Experience designing and developing interfaces/APIs with an emphasis on reusability and configurability. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of management. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 - $194,000.00.
