Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes for the manufacturing operations. Develop and maintain robust cost accounting systems, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation. Establish and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial data integrity and compliance. Provide comprehensive financial analysis and insights to support operational decision-making and drive cost efficiencies. Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions to optimize liquidity and financial health. Coordinate and manage external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Recommended QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA certification preferred. Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment. Proven expertise in cost accounting, inventory valuation, and variance analysis specific to manufacturing operations. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting for manufacturing. Bonus QualificationsExperience with ERP system implementation or optimization in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies. Proficiency with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for advanced financial analysis. Prior experience with financial due diligence or integration of acquired entities.
