Job Title: E-commerce & Integrations Developer Department: Marketing Reports to: Operations Marketing Manager Last Revised: 03/09/2026 Location: On-site - Lafayette, IN Job Summary: The E-Commerce & Integrations Developer is the technical backbone of Antique Candle Co.'s e-commerce platforms. This role owns the backend architecture, integrations, data flows, and operational reliability of all digital platforms. You will ensure Shopify, Recharge, NetSuite, Celigo, ShipHero, Google, and all connected tools work together seamlessly-while supporting internal teams with clear processes, training, and troubleshooting. In this role, you will work closely with the E-Commerce & Creative Director to bring UX/UI designs to life. Your main focus will be on the technical aspects of development that support the visual elements of the website or application. You will collaborate with the Marketing Operations Manager to uphold accurate and organized data segmentation and maintenance while independently devising marketing strategies, balancing both cooperation and autonomy in your approach. This is a hands-on builder role for someone who thrives on solving complex problems, creating stable systems, and ensuring that each software program functions seamlessly and efficiently. Requirements Supervisory Responsibilities: No supervisory responsibilities at this time. But, who knows what the future of ACC will bring! Duties/Responsibilities: Backend E-commerce Architecture Develop, optimize, and maintain backend functionality for Shopify, Recharge, and connected apps. Configure discount logic, shipping rules, swap/skip flows, and inventory-aware subscription logic. Ensure subscription stability, conduct QA for subscription products, and resolve customer-impacting issues. Implement front-end logic and coding (e.g., conditional text, visual indicators, theme adjustments) in partnership with the Creative Director. Systems Integration & Custom Development Own backend integrations across various platforms, including Shopify, Recharge, NetSuite, Celigo, ShipHero, Google, PostAffiliate Pro, and influencer platforms. Build or modify custom integrations to sync data between platforms (e.g., Recharge sales optics into NetSuite). Diagnose and resolve integration failures, data mismatches, and sync issues, as well as ensure conflict-free operation of Shopify apps. Activate and configure new software or apps to address operational challenges and improve customer experience. Technical Support, Vendor Management & Troubleshooting Serve as the primary technical liaison with software support teams-escalating issues, pushing for resolutions, and ensuring platform stability. Translate business needs into technical requirements and workflows across all systems. Provide clear documentation, SOPs, and training for internal teams. Manage user access, credentials, and permissions across all platforms (Google, social accounts, Faire, Shopify, etc.). Attribution, Tracking & Analytics Infrastructure Own UTM governance, link structure, and tracking consistency across marketing channels. Manage PostAffiliate Pro tracking, troubleshooting, and partner attribution accuracy. Ensure accurate data connections between Google Merchant Center, Shopify, analytics tools, and influencer platforms. Customer Experience Automation & Messaging Infrastructure Build and maintain transactional email/SMS flows, triggers, and logic across Attentive, Klaviyo, and related tools. Support deliverability best practices and reputation management for SMS and email channels. Support segmentation efforts by ensuring data accuracy, clean integrations, and reliable triggers-without owning segmentation strategy or execution. Set up redirects for 404 pages that allows for seamless journey & reducing friction on the website. Cross Team Collaboration & Support Partner with the E-Commerce & Creative Director to implement UX/UI updates and ensure backend feasibility. Support Customer Service with training, troubleshooting, and backend visibility. Work closely with the Marketing Operations Manager to ensure data flows and integrations support segmentation, reporting, and lifecycle marketing. Proactively identify system gaps, inefficiencies, or opportunities for automation. Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology. Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times (let's be honest, we're talking Q3 and Q4) stressful environment. Ability to exhibit the small business mindset, even as the business grows. Willingness to shift and support any Operations work center in a pinch (this might look like loading an outbound truck on a peak sales day). Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent required. 3-5+ years in ecommerce operations, technical product management, or systems integration (Shopify ecosystem preferred). Experience with Shopify strongly preferred. Recharge, Klaviyo/Attentive, Google Merchant Center, and common ecommerce integrations preferred. Familiarity with APIs, data flows, and integration platforms (Celigo experience is a plus) preferred. Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across multiple systems preferred. Comfortable with coding (HTML/CSS, Liquid, JavaScript) for front-end and integration needs preferred. Excellent communication skills-able to translate technical concepts for non-technical teams. Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities independently. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at desk and working on a computer. Environment Requirements: Working in an environment with various fragrances and scents. Travel Requirements: No travel required.
