Senior Program Manager for Media Streaming Services Ads and Monetization Description - We are seeking a visionary and execution-driven Principal Program Manager to lead large-scale, consumer-facing programs across media, music, streaming services, FAST channels, and ad-supported experiences. In this role, you will define and drive the delivery of next-generation media solutions that span video, audio, live content, and interactive experiences across devices and platforms. You will orchestrate complex, multi-team initiatives across engineering, product, UX, content operations, marketing, legal, finance, support, and quality, ensuring cohesive, high-quality launches that delight customers and accelerate business growth. You will also lead integrations with ad-tech partners, content providers, 3rd-party development vendors, and platform partners, enabling scalable monetization, premium playback experiences, and operational excellence. This role is ideal for a Principal PM who thrives at the intersection of media technology, consumer experience, and monetization strategy, and who can influence across organizations while driving clarity, alignment, and predictable delivery. Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of media, music, and streaming service programs, including app development, playback experiences, and content discovery. Drive cross-functional execution across engineering, product, UX, content ops, marketing, legal, finance, support, and QA. Own program strategy, roadmaps, KPIs, and delivery governance for high-visibility media and monetization initiatives. Oversee app development across mobile, TV, and device platforms, ensuring performance, usability, and feature quality. Improve metadata quality pipelines (ingestion, normalization, enrichment, validation) to enhance search, recommendations, and content discovery. Lead middleware improvements across APIs, services, and content delivery layers to support scalable media experiences. Partner with content providers, studios, broadcasters, and music labels to integrate content pipelines, metadata, rights, and playback requirements. Work with BDs and AdTech leads to enable ad-supported monetization. Ensure ad experiences meet quality, brand safety, and compliance standards. Support GTM planning, launch readiness, and post-launch optimization for media, app, and ad-supported features. Manage 3rd-party development vendors and platform partners, ensuring delivery accountability and SLA adherence. Communicate program status, risks, and decisions to executive stakeholders with clarity and influence Education & Experience Recommended Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence. 0+ years of work experience, preferably in project management, HP Services business units and with global projects, or related field. Preferred Certifications Project Management Professional (PMP) Agile/ Scrum Master ITIL Knowledge & Skills 10+ years leading large-scale, cross-functional programs in media, streaming, music, or consumer technology. Strong experience with program governance, risk management, and KPI-driven execution. Deep knowledge of OTT, VOD, Live TV, FAST, or music streaming ecosystems. Experience driving app development across mobile, TV, or device ecosystems. Understanding of middleware services, APIs, and backend systems powering media experiences. Experience with AVOD/FAST monetization, ad insertion (SSAI/CSAI), ad decisioning, targeting, and measurement. Proven ability to manage 3rd-party development vendors, content partners, and ad-tech partners. Strong understanding of content discovery, playback UX, and engagement flows. Familiarity with APIs, cloud services, media pipelines, mobile/web platforms, or connected devices. Ability to translate technical requirements into clear program deliverables. Exceptional communication and executive stakeholder management. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to drive clarity and alignment in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
