What You Will Do: Transport auto parts to distribution centers Complete an average of 10 stops per week Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers Return home daily Schedule: Dispatch times will vary based on shift bid. As a floater, your days may vary based on coverage needed. We operate 24/7. Enjoy weekly pay, and know that for most of our driving roles, you’ll be home daily. Qualifications: Valid Class A CDL required. Must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in your state of residence. Must currently possess or be able to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card. 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in the last 5 years. No more than two moving violations or accidents in the last three years on your DMV/MVR record. Follow all federal and state laws and regulations. Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential for this role. English language proficiency is required for compliance with federal law. Must work the required schedule and complete Penske’s employment application along with background checks and drug screening. Physical Requirements: The physical and mental demands here are representative of those necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. They must be able to lift and/or move up to 50lbs regularly and occasionally up to 100lbs.
