To qualify with Baggett Transportation, candidates must meet the following requirements: Driver Requirements: Must be at least 25 years old. Need 1 year of over-the-road driving experience within the last 5 years. Must pass a DOT physical examination. License Requirements: No DUI or DWI convictions. No speeding tickets exceeding 15 miles over the limit. No more than 3 moving or speeding violations in the last 3 years (only 1 in the last 12 months). No more than 2 preventable accidents in 3 years. No traffic violations involving fatal accidents. No improper lane changes or following too closely violations. Drug Policy: No history of failing a drug or alcohol test (random, pre-employment, post-accident, or reasonable suspicion). No refusals of drug or alcohol tests. Truck Requirement: Team trucks must be less than 10 years old; solo trucks must be less than 12 years old. Secret Clearance Requirements (for team drivers only): Must be a U.S. Citizen. No felony convictions. No bankruptcies or repossessions in the last 7 years. Must not be 90 days delinquent on bills. No dishonorable discharge from the military.
