Join our compassionate team and help us prioritize health! The Lead for Encounter Data Management plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of data related to claims errors. This position involves tackling diverse challenges with varying levels of complexity. Position Overview As the Lead for Encounter Data Management, you will facilitate the seamless migration of contracts across various systems, ensuring all business requirements are met or exceeded. Your responsibilities include thorough analysis of data, adherence to timelines, and comprehensive validation of changes. You will seek long-term enhancements in encounter submission processes and guide executives in developing functional strategies tailored to specific segments. This role requires independent judgment and decision-making on complex issues and operates with minimal supervision, relying on your analytical skills to determine the best course of action. You will report directly to the Director of Encounter Data Management. Make a Difference with Your Skills Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience with encounter data, claims, or EDI transactions. 5+ years of experience in system migrations with a proven track record of on-time deliverables. 2+ years in project leadership roles collaborating with multiple departments. 2+ years working in an agile development team. Experience utilizing ADO or Jira Align. Proven ability to manage tight deadlines effectively. Strong problem-solving skills, able to give direction and make informed business decisions. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments. Demonstrated experience in delivering presentations to senior leadership. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field. Certification in Six Sigma or Project Management. Previous experience in a healthcare or insurance environment. Additional Information Remote Work Requirements Must have a high-speed DSL or cable modem for your home office. Internet expenses will be reimbursed for associates located in California. A minimum standard speed of 25x10 (25mbps download x 10mbps upload) is necessary. Satellite and wireless internet services are not permitted for this position. A dedicated workspace that is free of disruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information. Expect this to take approximately 10-15 minutes. Travel: While this position is remote, there may be occasional travel to Humana's offices for training and meetings. Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Compensation The salary range below is a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time employment (40 hours/week) at the time of posting. Actual pay may differ based on geographic location, skills, experience, education, certifications, etc. $94,900 - $130,500 per year Eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on individual and company performance.
