The Senior Solutions Engineer plays a crucial role in collaborating with other Solution Architects to oversee the complete design and implementation of solutions, ensuring a smooth transition into production. This position also involves supporting new business opportunities through pre-sales activities and architecture design tailored for client needs. Lead and manage the implementation of Acxiom solutions and complex changes that can significantly impact existing frameworks. Guarantee that each customized solution aligns with both the client's objectives and Acxiom's strategic vision. Serve as the primary technical contact during implementation, ensuring effective communication with clients and tracking progress. Focus on client consulting for proposed modifications, process enhancements, and resolution of data inquiries. Function independently as the Subject Matter Expert for end-to-end solutions, guiding other Solution Architects in their tasks. Coordinate technical changes and research while maintaining a self-directed approach. Provide comprehensive solution consulting to clients and develop a roadmap for future enhancements. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assigned to projects either for existing Acxiom clients or new accounts, managing ongoing solution consultation for enhancements. Conduct impact assessments across solutions or components during the implementation of Acxiom solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and overall vision. Maintain the integrity of complex solutions by guiding other Solution Architects on design and technology choices. Engage with clients through project communications, taking a consultative approach to identify obstacles and suggest viable solutions. Gather stakeholder requirements and translate them into logical process flows, evaluating approaches for cost, compatibility, and usability to determine the most efficient solutions. Develop and maintain the solution roadmap, integrating technical changes and direction whenever feasible. Align technical and business stakeholder requirements with project plans, contributing to risk mitigation assessments and ensuring designs meet functional and technical criteria. Stay informed about Acxiom and industry developments, trends, and technologies to align client needs with available products and solutions. Exhibit a strong understanding of pre-sales processes, including scoping and estimation, leading overview meetings for new projects. KNOWLEDGE / COMPETENCIES: Develop and demonstrate a thorough understanding of both the client's and Acxiom's technical and business environments. Deep knowledge of Acxiom Delivery Methodology, Project Management, and Change Management practices. Strong comprehension of organizational structures and cultures within Acxiom and familiarity with core products and services. Experience in design creation, elicitation, and project planning. Ability to exhibit leadership and contribute effectively through collaboration on significant projects. Function independently and interface effectively with high-level client stakeholders, adapting communication styles to meet diverse needs. Provide technical leadership, ensuring solution enhancements and modifications are well managed and understood. Translate complex, technical concepts into non-technical language to effectively convey business benefits. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree is required. This position is not eligible for any form of sponsorship. Minimum 5 years of experience in technical roles and at least 3 years in architect positions. Extensive experience (5 years) in database, direct, or interactive marketing environments. Experience working in client-facing roles for a minimum of 5 years. Demonstrated experience (5 years) working with change management processes. Minimum 5 years of experience at Acxiom is required.
