The Role As a Technical Solutions Architect, you will take charge of developing sophisticated integrated solutions across Kyndryl’s public and private cloud, applications, data & AI, infrastructure, and consulting services. Your primary responsibility is to deliver substantial value to our customers while building and managing relationships with key decision-makers in their organizations. This is a customer-facing role where you'll spend 50 to 70% of your time engaging directly with clients and working on one to three concurrent projects while fostering strong relationships with customer stakeholders, including CTO/CIO levels. Job Description: Lead the preparation and development of organizational responses to requests for proposals, ensuring a strong alignment with customer needs, which includes expertise in proposal writing and business relationship management. Conduct research to understand sales markets, focusing on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis to establish strong value propositions. Identify clients’ business challenges, leveraging your technical expertise to craft unique solutions that emphasize customer value and benefits. Prepare groundwork for acquiring and supporting clients for products and services prior to closing sales, including client needs assessment and demand generation. Create comprehensive designs for solutions, which encompass project goals, direction, and successful implementation strategies. Apply sound business practices to resolve business challenges by gathering key information and implementing effective solutions. Collaborate with colleagues to refine and articulate financial models effectively. Monitor customer interactions with the organization to ensure our products and services address their requirements effectively. Contribute to developing costing methodologies and maintain globally consistent cost models. Coordinate with service offering management teams regarding service definitions and related cost model factors. Assist in contract negotiations through to the final signature, ensuring a smooth engagement hand-over. Kyndryl currently does not require employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Who You Are Extensive experience (20+ years) in technology paired with strong business acumen, with the ability to champion concepts effectively. Solid market connections up to the CxO level. Proven ability to lead the creation of complex deals through proactive leadership. Deep understanding of technology and business trends in infrastructure, cloud services, applications, and AI technologies. Excellent collaboration skills to work with both internal and external stakeholders to close large, complex deals (over $10 million TCV). Exceptional communication skills to clearly articulate solutions and differentiators. The compensation range for this position in the U.S. is $159,240 to $286,560 based on a full-time schedule, with actual compensation varying based on geography, job-related skills, and experience. For part-time positions, compensation will be adjusted accordingly. Additionally, Kyndryl offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, retirement plans, and paid leave.
