SUMMARY The Casino Marketing Coordinator is responsible for administrative services to Player Development Host Team at the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino. Responsible for reports generated from information provided by the Director of Player Development and Player Development Manager. Works closely with marketing, events and Casino Hosts to plan special events. Ensures timely and personalized reservation support for incoming casino guests and expertly handles requests in collaboration with the Player Development team. Tasked with providing prompt reservation support and setting up VIP rooms, manage suite block and to ensure our highest-level players always receive GRAND service. The Casino Marketing Coordinator is well-organized, possesses strong communication skills, can multitask, and upholds the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Perform player review and event management, as well as score tournaments and complete reports. Create team member, new junket rep, and communicate with independent reps and office managers. Make reservations, reserve limos, arrange for room amenities, and comps for Player Development Executives and junkets reps. Complete all required commission reports and record keeping. Complete department schedules, as well as ordering inventory for departmental use. Responsible for administrative components of Player Development. Assists with tracking systems updates and records retention. Assists with the coordination of casino room/suite blocks, promotions, PD events, and PD activities. Assists with all activities developed for attraction and retention of VIP players. Coordinate Player Development activities in a timely manner such as dinner/hotel reservations, VIP event attendance, concert requests. Maintain integrity and update of current player accounts. Maintain good communication with team members and maintain a positive and professional work environment Develop internal and external communication channels and systems. Assist Marketing, Casino Marketing and Player Development with the execution of promotions and events. Act as a contact/liaison between the department, vendors and suppliers. Includes casino golf groups and assist golf ambassador. Manages and orders inventory as necessary. Coordinate meetings with staff of other departments and assists with obtaining and training. Responsible for communicating with all departments informing them of the promotions and events in a timely manner. Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIESAbility of simple reading, writing, math, and complex task completion skills is required. Must have the following skills: clerical, compiling, coordination, precision working, following instructions, influencing others, memorization, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making. Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate. Must be a minimum of 21 years of age. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEMinimum 3 years' clerical experience in casino/resort industry is preferred or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. CERTIFICATES AND LICENSESMust be able to maintain Gaming License & Alcohol Awareness card. PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the team member is constantly sitting, frequently standing, walking, occasionally reaching overhead, bending over, crouching, and kneeling during the duration of their shift. Must be able to push/pull and/or carry/lift 10lbs or less constantly and 50lbs or less occasionally. The team member will constantly have repetitive use of both hands, frequent light grasping motions, and occasional firm/strong grasping motions. Finger dexterity of both hands will be constantly required. Constant use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. WORK ENVIRONMENT Work performed indoors and outdoors, alone and frequently with and around others. Team Member will perform work face-to-face including verbal contact with others on extended shifts around computer equipment and electrical devices. Team member may be exposed to confined areas, extreme heat, extreme cold, wet and/or humid conditions, vibrations, moving objects, high places, and slippery surfaces.
