Job Details Estimated Weekly Salary: $1640-$1730/week Location: Panama City, FL 32401 - Panama City FL nursing jobs, Florida travel nurse jobs Setting: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) - LTAC nurse, long-term acute care nursing Employment Type: Travel Contract - travel nurse, contract RN Shift: 12-hour night shifts (3 shifts per week) - night shift RN Hours per Week: 36 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: March 30, 2026 Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license BLS Certification (required prior to first shift) ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift) Minimum of 2 years of bedside clinical experience - bedside RN experience preferred Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills for LTAC and complex care Ability to supervise and delegate to LPNs, CNAs, and orientees - leadership and team collaboration Experience in long-term acute care, ventilator or trach care, or similar acute settings is a plus Responsibilities Perform comprehensive nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission - LTAC RN responsibilities Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team Provide direct patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly - strong clinical documentation skills Initiate and participate in patient teaching and discharge planning from admission Communicate changes in patient status to the care team to ensure continuity and safety Supervise and provide direction to ancillary nursing personnel (LPNs, CNAs, orientees) Promote patient and employee safety by adhering to all safety policies and procedures Participate in team-building activities to foster a positive work environment - collaborative healthcare team Identify opportunities for professional growth and pursue continuing education - career development for RNs Why Panama City?
