About the job PLM Architect Top Requirements: 1. Bachelor Degree is Required, Masters Degree is Preferred 2. Deep expertise in Dassault systems 3dx/ Enovia Architecture, proven architecture level experience with 3DX (Cloud or onprem), strong hands on knowledge of Enovia data models, schema design, and configuration. 3. Experience managing Engineering BOM (EBOM), Manufacturing BOM (MBOM), Service BOM (SBOM) 4. Experience with Enterprise Architecture and governance leadership. 5. Looking for 8 -10 years of experience 6. Integration of 3dx with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle), CAD integrations (especially CATIA V5/V6) Position Description: Employees in this job function are responsible for translating desired business capabilities into o solution concepts and models and their requirements (functional and technical) o Design strategies, technology patterns and service structures. Accountable for architecture and information management guidance and governance processes. Responsible for enterprise capability integration by describing and evaluating the opportunities for integration and alignment of information and process flows, selecting appropriate implementation strategies, and defining technology mechanisms required. Compiles, develops and aligns architectural models of current and proposed capabilities and solutions across the enterprise to support strategy and investment decisions, portfolio management, program and project management, solution and service design and development and service management. Drives information integration, information standards, and information management through capability and value analysis and assessment. Delivers architecture artefacts (business, information, data, process, solution, application, service, technology, infrastructure architectures) to solution, service and technology delivery initiatives, programs and projects. Sets architecture and design direction (technologies, patterns, design principles, development frameworks) in cooperation with project management and system design/development. Key Responsibilities: Provides direction and support to project teams by translating business capabilities into well-defined Projects/programs with clear objectives and deliverables. Visualizes and communicates architecture concepts, principles, strategies, and models for programs, initiatives, and domains. Facilitates architecture discussions with cross-functional business sponsors and product lines to ensure alignment. Participates as a member or facilitator in relevant business/IT governance processes. Ensures alignment between architecture projects and standards and related IT projects and plans by working with appropriate IT and business management. Develops recommendations which will improve the business value of IT projects and plans. Sets direction and approves future state architecture standards, guidelines, blueprints, and roadmaps for/across business functions. Drives architecture-related research to further mature architecture standards, guidelines, blueprints, and roadmaps. Directs and approves innovations and/or prototypes based on research and approves recommendations on architecture, tools, methodologies, and/or processes. Facilitates architecture governance and ensures adherence to architecture standards. Obtains buy-in for architecture standards, guidelines, blueprints, and roadmaps from appropriate business and IT leaders. Promotes benefits and value of architecture and architecture management to the business and IT senior management. Provides guidance on strategy and planning in support of overall prioritization and portfolio planning. Experience Required: Specialist Exp: 10+ yrs in IT; 4+ yrs in concentration Education Required: Bachelor's Degree Education Preferred: Master's Degree Additional Information : 1. Architectural Leadership & Strategy Define the end-to-end PLM architecture on the Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE platform (Cloud or On-Premise). Lead the strategy for BOM Transformation, ensuring seamless synchronization between Engineering BOM (EBOM), Manufacturing BOM (MBOM), and Service BOM (SBOM). Architect solutions for Product Configuration and Variant Management to handle complex automotive option-logic and 150% BOM structures. 2. Technical Design & Implementation Design data models, schema changes, and interface specifications within ENOVIA. Oversee the integration of 3DX with downstream systems such as ERP (SAP/Oracle) and legacy CAD environments (CATIA V5/V6). Lead technical deep-dives into 3DX modules such as Product Configurator, and Change Manager. Develop migration strategies for transitioning legacy BOM data into the 3DX environment 3. Domain Excellence (Automotive BOM) Standardize Change Management processes (ECR/ECN) within the platform to ensure traceability across global engineering teams. 4. Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with Engineering Leads and Manufacturing Engineers to translate business requirements into scalable technical requirements. Provide technical governance and mentorship to developers and system integrators.
