Overview The Lead Data Insights and Solutions Engineer for HireRight Insights sits within the Business Intelligence organization and serves as the primary analytics point of contact for the HireRight Insights Product Manager and related stakeholders. This role is responsible for providing high-quality, trusted insights that support the strategy, roadmap prioritization, and outcome measurement of the HireRight Insights customer-facing dashboard. While reporting into Business Intelligence, this role operates in close partnership with the HireRight Insights Product Manager, acting as a strategic advisor who translates product questions, customer needs, and roadmap initiatives into analytical frameworks, metrics, and insights. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, excellent stakeholder management, and the ability to influence decisions within an agile product environment. This role also provides analytical leadership and hands-on development for the HireRight Insights dashboard, ensuring consistent standards, clear requirements, and alignment between product needs and enterprise reporting practices. ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary analytics and dashboard development partner for the HireRight Insights Product Manager Work closely with the Product Manager within an agile framework to support roadmap planning, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and prioritization Translate product roadmap initiatives, customer needs, and strategic questions into clear analytical approaches, KPIs, and success measures Design, build, and continuously evolve the HireRight Insights customer-facing dashboard, ensuring usability, performance, and trust in the data Define, document, and maintain HireRight Insights KPIs and metric definitions in alignment with Business Intelligence standards Support product launches, enhancements, and iterations with pre- and post-analysis, success measurement, and learnings Proactively analyze trends, usage patterns, and anomalies in customer and product data and communicate insights and recommendations clearly Partner with Data Engineering and Business Intelligence teams to ensure HireRight Insights data is accurate, reliable, and scalable Ensure consistency and trust in HireRight Insights metrics across Product, BI, and executive reporting Influence product decisions through insight, storytelling, and data-driven recommendations Escalate data quality, definition, or prioritization issues as needed to protect trust in customer-facing analytics Help build, evolve, and promote an easy-to-use, trusted analytics experience for HireRight customers while maintaining alignment with enterprise standards Qualifications5+ years of progressive experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data insights roles, with ownership of analytics for a product or customer-facing solution Hands-on experience designing, building, and delivering Tableau dashboards and analytical views (Tableau Cloud or Tableau Desktop) Proven experience translating ambiguous product or customer questions into well-defined analytical approaches, KPIs, and success measures Demonstrated experience defining, documenting, and maintaining metric definitions aligned to enterprise BI standards Experience developing customer-facing dashboards with a focus on usability, trust, and clarity Experience serving as the primary analytics owner for a customer-facing product or insights platform Deep familiarity with product usage metrics, customer behavior analysis, and outcome measurement Experience working within an enterprise BI organization emphasizing governance, standard definitions, and trusted reporting Demonstrated ability to independently shape analytical scope, success criteria, and prioritization in partnership with Product Experience presenting insights and recommendations to senior or executive stakeholders Familiarity with modern data platforms, curated warehouse views, or lakehouse-style architectures Some SQL proficiency with the ability to read, interpret, and validate complex, multi-source datasets What do we offer HireRight offers a competitive benefit package which includes: Medical Dental Vision Paid Life/AD&D Insurance Voluntary Life Insurance Short & Long Term Disability Flexible Spending Accounts 401K Generous Vacation and Sick Program 10 Paid Holidays Education Assistance Program Business Casual Attire Generous Referral Program Employee Discounts and Rewards And much more!
