Principal Technical Systems Admin Englewood, CO 1 Opening Pay: $86.20 Job Profile SummaryThe Technical Systems Administrator is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure both located within the Business0 Area Network and Internet based. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff, Partners, and customers.we provide the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, marketing, and communications. Learn more about SNC's corporate team.• Business application support workflows and methods; prefer ServiceNow or JIRA Help Desk• Experience with implementing Engineering Tool Administration practices.• Manage documentation of network server configurations, application licensing agreements, and other third party software installed• Responsible for ensuring backup systems process and procedures are in place and monitored for Product Development Software• Document repair/maintenance and change requests through IS department ticketing system• Escalation point for on call/after hours support for Product Development Suite of Tools• Work closely with the Application team and Development team to drive tactical implementation of technical roadmap for Product Development tools• Build prototype and test systems for demo and testing• Understand, plan, and execute technical activities in accordance with SNC policies, procedures, and work instructions and specific Customer requirements• Originate and/or revise process documents in support of PLM and development activitiesMust-haves:• Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study • Higher education may substitute for relevant experience • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education • 3DExperience On-Premise Deployment in Cloud Hosted environmentNice-to-haves:• Experience in developing applications in iOS, Microsoft, Linux, Javascript, angular.js, webRTC preferred.• 10+ years implementing tools and processes associated with CAD Driven Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) structure development in support of engineering, manufacturing and sustainment of SNC's programs/product lines• Skilled in driving digital transformation/implementation projects over months and years by being involved in vision strategy session; Distilling those inputs into an actionable technical roadmap options what are able to be implemented multiple times and adapt to evolving business demands as the realization of implementation benefits occurIMPORTANT NOTICE:To conform to U.S. Government international trade regulations, applicant must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or U.S. Department of Commerce.At Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) we deliver customer-focused technology and best-of-breed integrations in the aerospace and defense sectors.
