Director of Strategic Sourcing

Director of Strategic Sourcing & Category Management We're seeking a strategic, forward-thinking sourcing leader to shape our global supply base, drive enterprise category strategy, and build long-term competitive advantage. You'll lead category management, global sourcing, supplier portfolio strategy, and cost intelligence-while partnering across Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Procurement to deliver measurable impact. What You'll Do • Lead enterprise category strategies across metals, direct materials, components, and indirect spend • Own supplier selection, commercial strategy, and major negotiations • Build global sourcing capability, including supplier development in India. • Develop clean-sheet/should-cost models and market intelligence • Partner with Procurement Operations to ensure consistent execution across all sites • Integrate supplier performance and development into sourcing decisions • Support new product introduction, manufacturing strategy, and cost initiatives • Build and lead a high-performing sourcing and category management team What You Bring • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred • 10+ years in strategic sourcing, category management, or supply chain leadership (manufacturing required) • 5+ years leading sourcing or supplier strategy teams • Proven success driving cost reduction and supply risk mitigation • Strong commercial acumen: negotiations, contracts, cost modeling • Global sourcing experience across multiple geographies • Ability to influence across a matrixed organization with executive presence Why Join Us • Lead enterprise-level sourcing strategy with executive visibility • Shape a global supply base and build capability in high-growth regions • Drive meaningful cost, risk, and performance outcomes • Build and mentor a high-impact sourcing organization
