Maintenance Technician for Plant Operations

Location: Dallas RMX TX Job Req ID: 15487 Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician for Plant Operations and play a key role in ensuring the efficiency and safety of our facilities! ABOUT THE ROLE As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, inspection, repair, relocation, and installation of plant machinery and equipment, while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. At Amrize, we're looking for a dedicated individual who can contribute to our success in the DFW and Special Projects Plants. WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE Conduct regular maintenance, inspections, and repairs on plant machinery and equipment, following relevant manuals and guidelines. Execute preventative maintenance schedules on equipment such as crushers, conveyor belts, and pumps according to manufacturer recommendations. Assess and maintain the operational condition of equipment, performing necessary adjustments and repairs. Assist in relocating and installing plants based on engineering specifications while mentoring less experienced technicians. Disassemble, repair, and replace defective parts of production equipment to maintain optimum performance. Carry out maintenance tasks on plant buildings and other related facilities as assigned. Commit to upholding and promoting health, safety, and environmental policies in all work areas. Complete other duties as required to ensure efficient operation. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR High school diploma or equivalent. 2-3 years of specialized training in a technical school, apprenticeship, or manufacturers' training program. 3-4 years of experience in mechanical repair, installation, and construction in an industrial environment. Proficient knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, with aptitude in using shop equipment like welding and machining tools. Additional Requirements: Candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and ensure proper use of Amrize-approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE). WHAT WE OFFER Competitive salary.
