Corporate Financial Controller

HHM Talent is assisting a client search for an Automotive Corporate Controller in Columbus, OH.  Position OverviewOur client is seeking a highly experienced Automotive Corporate Controller to lead all accounting, financial reporting, and compliance functions across a multi-rooftop dealership group. This individual will oversee the store level controllers, standardize accounting processes, and drive a consistent month end close. This role requires deep automotive industry experience and the ability to manage complex, multi-location financial operations. Key Responsibilities Oversee all accounting and financial operations for multiple dealership locations Lead and mentor a team of Controllers Ensure that all rooftops follow the same accounting processes Enforce a 5 to 6 day month end close timeline Ensure accuracy of general ledgers, schedules, reconciliations, and financial statements Maintain clean, organized, compliant accounting records and processes Ensure all stores meet reporting deadlines with complete, audit ready financials Lead audit preparation, including flooring audits, tax reviews, and internal audits Utilize the DealerTrack DMS system Qualifications Must have Automotive Corporate Controller experience 5 to 10 years of multi-rooftop group experience Proficiency with DealerTrack is strongly preferred Proven success delivering a tight month-end close.
