The Market CFO will serve as the lead on-site financial resource for the hospital, with a primary focus on leading the hospital management team to meet financial goals and supporting the overall performance excellence. This role is pivotal in the strategic and operational financial management of the hospital, including service line growth, and expansion, and ensuring the delivery of quality patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operating budget, which is anticipated to be close to $350M, and will play a key role in the financial planning and management of the hospital's resources. Key responsibilities for the Market CFO include leading the hospital's financial operations, advocating for patients and providers, and fostering a culture of financial accountability and excellence. The role requires a collaborative and visible leader with strong operational and leadership skills, superb physician relationship skills, and a proven track record of working within a matrixed healthcare system environment. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, with a Master's degree in business administration or CPA licensure strongly preferred, and at least 10 years of financial experience in a hospital setting. The Market CFO will also be involved in the strategic planning of the hospital, with a focus on short- and long-term capital planning, and will be expected to have a strong background in finance operations and a commitment to the values of the healthcare industry.
