About Our Team This technical position requires collaboration as a peer to customer Chief Architects. You will work closely with customer IT operations, architecture teams, and business leaders. Operating at an architectural level, you will aim to achieve the prestigious Nutanix Certified Expert (NCX) certification within your first 6-12 months, with training provided. The NCX certification is a benchmark for top-tier technical professionals, showcasing your ability to develop and defend comprehensive Nutanix designs to industry experts. Your Responsibilities Act as the primary technical authority and post-sales trusted advisor for 6-8 strategic accounts, ensuring the architectural integrity of the environment throughout deployment and long-term operation. Bridge business objectives with technical execution by collaborating with customer architecture teams, ensuring that Nutanix solutions meet enterprise business requirements. Lead the design and documentation of tailored Customer Success Plans that act as technical roadmaps for sustained value realization. Provide actionable insights at the architectural level regarding technology usage, maturity, and best practices to optimize extensive data center operations. Serve as a technical consultant during the onboarding process, ensuring adherence to architectural best practices and desired business outcomes during the initial deployment. What You Bring 8-12 years of experience in high-level technical advisory or architectural positions, establishing credibility with mid-to-senior level technical leadership (CTOs, VPs of Infrastructure). Advanced knowledge of architectural frameworks such as ITIL, TOGAF, etc., applicable to complex hybrid multicloud environments. In-depth expertise in data center technologies, particularly in creating resilient and scalable virtualization and storage platforms. A solid technical background supported by elite certifications (e.g., VCDX, NPX, NCX, VCAP, or TOGAF). We highly encourage current Senior Architects or Principal Engineers to apply. Work Arrangement This position is primarily remote. While there are no specific in-office requirements, occasional travel to other locations or visits to a local office may be necessary based on business needs. The expected starting salary for this position ranges from USD $160,000 to USD $320,400 per year. Salary may vary based on factors such as market location, job-related expertise, skills, and experience. The complete compensation package may include additional components like a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards, along with a comprehensive range of medical, financial, and other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided upon extending a job offer. If hired, you will be in an 'at-will position,' and the Company retains the right to modify your base salary and any other discretionary payments or compensation programs as needed, considering factors including individual performance, company performance, and market conditions.
