The Associate Director of Analytics and Reporting will spearhead the strategies, design, and expansion of financial reporting and analytics across CenterWell. This role is responsible for overseeing the analytics ecosystem tailored for business needs, which includes executive reporting, financial reporting products, and self-service analytics, all supported on a centralized cloud data platform. This position is remote, with expectations to align work hours to Eastern Standard Time or Central Standard Time. As the finance strategy partner, the Associate Director will set the focus on scalable reporting capabilities. Leading a team of BI and analytics professionals, you'll collaborate with Finance Leadership, Transformation Office, and Data Platform teams to bring analytics to fruition. You will provide strategic oversight and direction for analytics solutions based on the CenterWell Finance cloud data platform, delivered through enterprise Power BI reporting. Key Responsibilities: Guide the Finance reporting and analytics roadmap to transform leadership priorities into scalable and consistent financial insights across CenterWell. Establish common reporting frameworks, KPIs, and financial perspectives across finance while aligning initiatives with finance transformation strategies. Provide leadership and architectural guidance for analytics and reporting solutions using Power BI, SQL-based data models, and the Snowflake/Databricks finance data platform. Oversee the creation and implementation of centralized financial and executive reporting solutions, transitioning from fragmented manual processes to automated, scalable reporting. Lead the development of governed financial datasets and reusable analytical tools, ensuring finance teams have access to trusted data across centralized analytics channels. Drive cross-functional analytics initiatives that meet critical finance needs and facilitate the growth from descriptive reporting to predictive and actionable insights. Manage and develop a team of BI and analytics professionals, setting priorities, delivery schedules, and quality benchmarks for all initiatives. Collaborate with finance transformation, planning, FP&A, Controller, and business finance teams to ensure that reporting and analytics capabilities effectively meet business requirements. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Analytics, Information Systems, or related field. 7+ years of experience in BI, analytics, or finance reporting. 5+ years of leadership experience directing BI/analytics teams. In-depth understanding of modern BI and data platforms including Power BI and SQL-based data modeling. Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks. Experience with finance reporting and FP&A processes. Ability to design executive and financial reporting solutions. Strong knowledge of Power BI and analytics platforms. Proficient in SQL-based data modeling and analytics data architecture. Experience collaborating with Finance and Accounting stakeholders. Ability to translate business requirements into scalable analytics solutions. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in healthcare finance analytics or complex operational finance environments. Background in finance transformation or reporting modernization. Familiarity with enterprise planning or performance management systems. Experience with centralized analytics or reporting platforms. Demonstrated leadership in analytics delivery on Snowflake or Databricks infrastructures. Understanding of BI semantic models and governed data products. Experience scaling analytics initiatives across multiple business units. Master’s degree in Business, Analytics, or related field. Additional Information: Internet Compatibility: To ensure effective working from home, employees' internet service must meet minimum criteria: a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps; a wired connection is preferred. Satellite, cellular, and microwave connections may only be used with approval from management. Employees working from home in California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will receive bi-weekly stipends for internet expenses. Travel: This is a remote position, with occasional travel to Humana’s offices for training or meetings as necessary. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Salary Range: Competitive salary of $129,300 - $177,800 per year, based on experience and skills, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan tied to performance.
