Job Summary: As a key member of our healthcare team, the Pharmacy Operations Manager provides exceptional pharmacy consulting services, guiding patients on effective medication use and awareness of drug interactions. This role encompasses a range of preventive and clinical healthcare services, including immunizations and diagnostic testing. You will ensure that all prescribed medications are accurately compounded, reviewed, dispensed, and verified in compliance with regulatory guidelines. In addition, you will oversee pharmacy workflow efficiency, manage inventory effectively, enhance financial performance, and improve patient experiences. You will lead and develop pharmacy staff, fostering a motivated team environment. Job Responsibilities: Patient Experience: Actively engage with patients by greeting them and offering support. Resolve concerns promptly to create a positive environment. Share best practices for customer service and enhance awareness of the healthcare services offered. Operations: Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and interactions. Perform pharmacist duties such as compounding and verifying medications, ensuring compliance with regulations. Manage pharmacy workflow by overseeing scheduling, task assignments, and team coordination. Maintain accurate insurance claims processing to avoid payment rejections. Build relationships with medical providers for effective communication and care. People & Performance Management: Partner with the Store Manager to recruit and manage pharmacy staff. Ensure a positive work environment and address employee concerns. Training & Personal Development: Stay current with licensing requirements and continually enhance your knowledge through professional development resources. Communications: Ensure pharmacy staff is informed about corporate health initiatives and strategies. Business Performance Management: Analyze pharmacy performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. External Basic Qualifications: BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree from an accredited institution. Current pharmacist licensure in relevant states. Certified Immunizer or willing to become certified within 90 days of hire. Minimum of 1 year pharmacy experience in relevant functions including technology systems and insurance billing.
