Join a dynamic civil engineering firm celebrated for its robust land development practice as a Senior Land Development Engineer. In this crucial role, you will lead and execute both private and public land development projects while nurturing the growth of junior engineers and collaborating closely with clients and firm leadership. Key Responsibilities Successfully oversee land development projects from initial concept through construction completion. Prepare and lead site civil designs, including grading, drainage and stormwater systems, utilities, and erosion and sediment control. Work in partnership with local municipalities, counties, and regulatory agencies. Efficiently manage the permitting and entitlement processes. Provide invaluable technical mentorship to engineers and designers. Contribute to business development efforts and cultivate strong client relationships. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards. Qualifications A valid Professional Engineer (PE) license is required. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is necessary. At least 8 years of experience in land development is essential. Strong knowledge of site civil design and local permitting processes. Experience with project management and direct client interactions is a must. Previous experience in leadership or mentorship roles is preferred.
