ResponsibilitiesWhat you'll be able to do: SAP Basis Technology Specialist - positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, Michigan). Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the Dearborn office. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance from Dearborn, MI. Perform classical and legacy SAP installations, SAP S/4 installations, upgrades, patches, applying support packages, system copies/refreshes and installation of add-on software components. Daily administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and tuning of all SAP systems. Work with Vendors and partners and tune classical SAP and S/4 systems for optimal Performance. Work closely with other product teams to meet and maintain operational KPIs/SLAs. Participate in multi-landscape design solutions, architecture recommendations, and client strategies for continuous improvement. Develop, implement, and execute SAP BASIS and HANA DB policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of SAP systems in support of the SAP applications. Provide Support and Guidance to the other Project and Development teams during the build, test and productive operation of project implementation. Perform setup and Configuration of Solution Manager Dashboards in order to monitor & administer the SAP systems. Support NA EWM warehouses related to SAP infrastructure issues (Printers, SLNet, Windows servers and RF devices). Support Cloud initiatives (eg. GCP) to setup/migrate existing On-prem SAP solutions. Provide Production Support on a periodic 24x7 support with on-call responsibilities. QualificationsYou'll have... Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a related field and 7 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. 7 years of experience with each of the following skills is required: 1. SAP landscapes and Support SLAs of the applications. 2. Administration of SAP landscapes, monitoring and resolving issues related to critical alerts. 3. Performing legacy SAP installations, SAP S/4 installations, upgrades, patches, applying support packages, and system copies/refreshes. 4. Supporting Solution Manager ChaRM cycles. 5. Supporting EWM warehouse printer issues. 6. EWM performance KPIs of various transactions. 7. Supporting GCP landscape for EWM issues. We are offering a salary of $117,603.00 - $185,964.96/yr.
