Akkodis is seeking a Software Development Lead for a Contract with a client in Hartford, CT/Hunt Valley, MD. Candidate must have strong handson expertise in Guidewire Policy Center, Guidewire Integration, and Advanced Product Designer to qualify for this technical lead role. Rate Range: $98/hour to $100/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Software Development Lead job responsibilities include: Leading the design and development of Guidewire Policy enter solutions while driving endtoend configuration and integration activities. Guiding the team's technical decisions, mentoring developers, and ensuring alignment with project objectives and architectural standards. Translating complex business requirements into detailed technical specifications to support scalable Guidewire implementations. Overseeing development tasks using Advanced Product Designer, Guidewire Integration patterns, and associated technologies. Facilitating team collaboration through structured discussions, project reviews, and continuous improvement practices. Evaluating emerging tools and approaches to enhance solution performance, user experience, and delivery quality. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Around 8 years total, including 2-3 years in a technical lead role (minimum 5 years Guidewire experience preferred). Strong handson proficiency in Guidewire Policy enters, Guidewire Integration, and Advanced Product Designer to lead endtoend solution development. Proven ability to guide teams, translate complex business requirements into technical specifications, and deliver scalable Guidewire implementations.
