Lifeguard at Arlington Forest Club- LIFEGUARDS

Arlington Forest Club in Arlington, VA is looking for part-time lifeguard to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and reliable. Responsibilities Supervises swimming activities at the aquatics facility and ensures that policies, guidelines, and safety procedures are followed. Warns swimmers of improper activities or danger and enforces pool regulations and water safety policies. Administers first aid in the event of injury, rescues swimmers in distress or danger of drowning, and administers CPR and/or artificial respiration, if necessary. Evaluates conditions for safety and initiates aquatics emergency action plan as required. Inspects pool facilities, equipment, and water to ensure that they are safe and usable. Conduct pool inspections and complete pool chemical logs and report imbalances or concerns to the supervisor. Cleans and maintains all pool areas, including but not limited to: vacuuming the pool, cleaning the deck, cleaning bathrooms and bathhouses, etc. Attends mandatory trainings. Submits vacations and scheduling conflicts in a timely manner. Part time works 15-20 hours per week. Full time works up to 40 hours per week. Qualifications Must be 16+. Must be American Red Cross Lifeguard (shallow and deep-water, AED, and CPR) certified by the beginning of May. We are looking forward to receiving your application. Thank you.
