Position: Human Resources Manager Location: Louisville, KY (40205) Job Type: Direct Hire Salary: $100,000/year Position Overview Snelling Staffing is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead day-to-day HR operations for a professional organization in the insurance industry. This role will serve as the on-site HR leader, supporting employees and leadership while ensuring HR programs, policies, and processes run efficiently. The ideal candidate is organized, people-focused, and knowledgeable in HR best practices and employment compliance. Key Responsibilities -Serve as the primary HR contact for employee questions, policies, and HR programs -Manage daily HR functions including onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and HRIS management -Coordinate recruiting activities including job postings, candidate communication, and interview scheduling -Support leadership with workforce planning, staffing needs, and employee retention initiatives -Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation -Assist with performance management processes including evaluations and employee development -Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies -Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and HR communications -Partner with leadership on employee relations matters, investigations, and performance improvement plans -Prepare HR reports and metrics to support business decisions Qualifications -Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred -3+ years of Human Resources experience -HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar) preferred -Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and employee relations -Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (Paycor experience preferred) -Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Work Environment This position is based in a professional office environment and requires regular in-person attendance.
