Description The National Security Sector at Leidos is excited to announce an opening for an Enhanced Digitization Specialist. This position offers a unique chance to leverage your skills in various digitization platforms, where you'll be working with vital data derived from maps, charts, and intelligence documents. Join us in Springfield, VA, to make an impactful contribution to national security. Primary Responsibilities: The candidate will be responsible for: Providing comprehensive digitization services for both internal and external clients. Executing necessary post-processing file conversions and uploads to the GeoSQRL database. Responding to customer requests, offering research support, conducting interviews to ensure requirements are met, and providing reproduction services. Distributing both digital and hardcopy products efficiently. Contributing to the preparation of analytical and technical reports and publications. Creating and maintaining databases, summary data, spreadsheets, and graphic documents. Ensuring proper file management according to division standards. Requesting and maintaining access to security domain systems (SBU/NIPR, SecNet, COE). Providing weekly metrics on digitization activity. Handling the transportation of physical media (up to 25 lbs.) and utilizing a ladder when needed. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with less than 2 years of relevant experience. TS/SCI clearance and capability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI/Poly clearance. Familiarity with digitizing maps, charts, and intelligence-related documents. Competence in creating PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets (including pivot tables), and using OneNote. Completion of coursework or one year of practical experience with ArcGIS desktop. Experience engaging directly with partners and customers, showcasing strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Basic understanding of Cartographic Principles. Ability to assist in moving and organizing physical media, including carrying boxes up to 25 lbs and climbing ladders. Preferred Qualifications: Active TS/SCI/Poly clearance. Insight into IC maps/products and classified databases. Familiarity with Foreign maps/products. Knowledge of Geodetic Principles. Experience with large and small format scanning equipment. Familiarity with JIRA software. Understanding of library clerical procedures. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements from supervisors and customers.
