Job Description Summary Join us as a Principal Technical Product Manager, where you will play a crucial role in collaborating with our Direct Procurement stakeholders within the Procurement and Supplier Management (PSM) Digital Technology Organization. Your mission will be to set a strategic vision, build comprehensive roadmaps, and effectively communicate this vision to both PSM and development teams. You will lead efforts in shaping the collaboration strategy, focusing on the execution of the Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) strategy, which includes creating insightful Tier 2/3 dashboards and APIs to enhance supplier data collection and ensure data completeness. Your leadership will guide the team through clear specifications, balancing new features with existing technical demands while ensuring seamless integration across varied stakeholders including Product Managers, Technical Anchors, Product Owners, and Developers. Job Description Responsibilities: Define and articulate the Product Vision and Roadmap. Own and manage a comprehensive backlog, prioritizing tasks based on customer needs and ensuring readiness for development while guiding cross-functional teams in delivering impactful features and products. Oversee scope changes and address non-standard events throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure management of Product Data Risk and Security. Facilitate stakeholder communication and provide progress reports at various organizational levels, including leadership and executives. Direct the day-to-day execution of multiple interdependent projects, collaborating with technical teams to clarify requirements, validate stories, and contribute to design activities. Track project outcome realization and customer satisfaction by measuring against established service level metrics. Conduct financial reviews and maintain ongoing budget tracking. Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge and industry insights to maintain a competitive edge. Employ expert persuasion and influencing skills to align customer expectations with product outcomes between teams. Represent the product dynamically, maintaining ownership of product status, ranking the feature backlog based on user stories created, and overseeing release planning along with rolling quarterly roadmaps. Continuously prioritize work in relation to customer needs and evolving issues. Exhibit strategic problem-solving skills, navigating through ambiguity effectively. Mentor others in applying systems thinking to address complex problems at scale. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience; or an associate's degree with a minimum of 13 years of professional experience; or a High School Diploma with a minimum of 15 years of professional experience. At least 7 years of professional experience in Technical Product Management. Note: Military experience is considered equivalent to professional experience. Able to travel domestically up to 25%. Desired Characteristics: Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud is preferred. Familiarity with software design principles, operational support practices, and problem-solving techniques. Proven experience collaborating with diverse business and IT teams to align priorities and influence successful outcomes. Highly organized, detailed-oriented, and thorough in execution. Exceptional collaboration skills, actively incorporating input from varied sources to solve problems. Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills, effectively evaluating information/data for informed decision-making. An understanding of Supply Chain and/or Procurement business processes is highly beneficial. Experience with Lean practices including Kaizens, Value Stream Maps (VSM), and structured Problem Solving. Additional Information for US candidates: The base pay range for this position is $152,000.00 - $253,000.00 USD. Compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
