This role is ideal for adaptable ICU nurses who are comfortable floating across multiple units and managing diverse, high-acuity patient populations. Unit Details Unit: Critical Care Float Pool Floating Required: Yes Scrub Color: Navy Blue Beds: 42 Patient Population & Equipment Common Diagnoses: Stroke, Sepsis, Altered Mental Status, Neuro Interventions (TCAR), Respiratory Failure, CHF, Post-STEMI, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Cardiogenic Shock, AAA Surgery, Trauma, Major Post-Operative Surgical Cases Specialty Equipment: IABP, CRRT, Ventriculostomy, ICP Monitoring, Targeted Temperature Management (TTM) Requirements Minimum 2 years of ICU experience Active New York RN License BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required Strong ability to float across critical care and medical-surgical units Experience with Epic EMR
