Role Overview: We are looking for a dedicated Vendor Relationship Manager to join our Payer Retrieval HIH Team. In this key role, you will be the primary contact for some of our largest vendors, leading effective meetings, analyzing data, and collaborating with internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of the Payer industry, demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, and excel at building trust with both internal and external partners. Key Responsibilities: Act as the main point of contact for our complex vendors, representing Datavant effectively in all communications. Lead vendor meetings to discuss inventory status updates, ensuring alignment on priorities and performance expectations through proactive follow-ups. Analyze dashboards and inventory data to forecast, establish priorities, identify risks, and recommend strategies to achieve client goals. Manage daily vendor relations, effectively balancing multiple projects and urgent issues. Proactively assess project timelines, collaborating with vendors to adjust course and meet delivery deadlines. Track project deliverables, providing regular performance reports to leadership and other teams. Monitor vendor performance, delivering weekly updates and escalating any gaps or concerns to leadership. Drive continuous improvement by contributing to the development and documentation of effective processes and procedures. Enhance chart retrieval performance from vendors to ensure targets are regularly achieved. Coordinate payment reconciliation with vendors, working closely with Accounts Payable for timely payments. Maintain ownership of project inventory and ensure efficient scheduling execution. Collaborate with internal teams to prepare and supply comprehensive inventory management files to vendors. Be accountable for meeting department KPIs related to inventory management. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field is preferred. 2-5 years of experience in Healthcare Technology, Medical Records, or Health Information. Prior experience in account management or operations within healthcare services or health plans is advantageous. Sound understanding of Risk Adjustment and Healthcare/Health IT is essential. Familiarity with project management principles relevant to account support is important. Exemplary problem-solving, decision-making, and goal-executing abilities. Capability to build rapport and trust across the organization and with clients. Exceptional oral and written communication skills for effective data presentation. Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to anticipate vendor needs. A motivated, detail-oriented team player. Preferred Attributes: Project Management coursework or PMP Certification.
