Travel Cath Lab Registered Nurse - $2,681 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/06/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity:RN - Cath Lab Job Details:• Work 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM• Some early shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM (or until structural heart procedures are completed)• One of the 4 days will be designated as a late shift to complete the last patient of the day• Call requirement: 1 night per week• Weekend requirement: 1 weekend every other month• Float as needed within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby• Minimum 2 years of experience required• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS• Must be proficient in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures• Experience with cardiac stent placement, IABP placement/removal, and Impella insertion required• Competency in procedural sedation administration/monitoring and sheath removal/monitoring• Knowledge of antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, emergency medications, and IV vasopressors• Proficiency with IV infusion pumps and starting/maintaining IVs• Must be comfortable with cardioversion, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, and infection prevention protocols• 24 hours of unit orientation provided• Scrubs provided by facility• Self-scheduling system utilized• Must work within fatigue policy guidelines: no more than 5 days in a row or 60 hours per week• Pre-start modules required (8-10 hours for acute care roles)• North Carolina or Compact license required Facility:This major healthcare system operates a comprehensive cardiac catheterization laboratory providing both diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The facility features state-of-the-art equipment and maintains a high-volume cath lab with 5 rooms handling approximately 30 procedures daily. The organization utilizes advanced medical systems including EPIC documentation, Pyxis medication management, and specialized cardiac lab equipment to deliver exceptional cardiovascular care to adult and geriatric patients.
