Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations; report any illegal activity promptly. Maintain food safety and sanitation standards while promoting a safe environment within the pharmacy. Handle ordering functions efficiently with wholesalers, ensuring availability of pharmacy products. Manage inventory accurately, including computerized tracking of medications and supplies. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to enhance customer experience. Accurately prepare and dispense medications while following best practices. Perform billing procedures to provide the best value for customers and the company. Respond to phone inquiries professionally and efficiently. Adhere to guidelines regarding coupons and cash handling to prevent discrepancies. Operate the cash register following company policies, ensuring all transactions are secure. Deliver exceptional customer experiences through efficient data entry and product dispensing. Assist pharmacists in their duties, respecting the scope of practice. Follow all HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Engage in company health and wellness initiatives actively. Accurately receive and organize deliveries of pharmacy products. Thrive in a fast-paced environment, displaying composure under pressure. Manage conflict amicably and professionally. Uphold honesty and integrity within customer and business interactions. Seek help when necessary to resolve challenges effectively. Assist diverse populations including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults. Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to handle confidential information responsibly. Meet state requirements to fulfill the role responsibilities. Desired Qualities: Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage. Experience as a pharmacy clerk is beneficial. Familiarity with EPRN systems is a plus. This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $18.20 - $18.70.
