Job Description The Role Join our dynamic HR Technology team as a Senior AI and Automation Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and implementing intelligent automation solutions that streamline and enhance our enterprise workflows. Your responsibilities will include executing the HR Automation and AI product roadmap, aligning with organizational goals, and driving maximum value from Agentic AI platforms such as Moveworks and Serval, as well as other critical systems like ServiceNow and Workday HCM. The ideal candidate is a technically skilled engineer with extensive experience in integrations, automation, and intelligent workflow design. This senior-level position requires not only exceptional development skills but also strong communication and project management abilities to collaborate effectively across various business and technology teams, including Business COEs, People Services, HR Technology, and IT stakeholders. What You'll Do Gain in-depth knowledge of the Moveworks, Serval, and other AI platforms through hands-on training and project involvement. Design, build, and deploy custom plugins for Moveworks or Serval platforms to enhance functionality. Collaborate closely with key stakeholders across COEs, HR, and IT to gather and validate project requirements. Lead successful implementation of AI agents and integrations, coordinating with your team and stakeholders. Integrate with enterprise systems using various technologies such as APIs, webhooks, OAuth, and other authentication methods. Conduct technical analysis and facilitate workshops with IT and Solution Architects to design effective integrations. Develop automation workflows leveraging structured data formats like JSON and XML. Perform testing, documentation, and deployment of new plugins and enhancements to existing systems. Ensure security, data integrity, and compliance in all integration processes. Prepare comprehensive Solution Design documents for AI agents and their integrations. Analyze platform capabilities to propose innovative and scalable technical solutions. Maintain the integration and plugin roadmap, including feature enhancements and updates. Provide technical guidance and best practices to internal teams and stakeholders. Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications) Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. 6+ years of work experience on HR platforms with a strong focus on integrations, particularly in HCM or HRSD. 3+ years of back-end development experience in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++). Robust hands-on experience with APIs and integrations. Familiarity with API technologies (e.g., REST, SOAP) and authentication mechanisms (e.g., OAuth2, JWT). Proficient in working with JSON and XML. Experience using tools like Postman or Insomnia for API testing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail. Excellent communication and consulting skills for engaging stakeholders and simplifying complex concepts. General understanding of AI technologies and related terminologies. What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications) Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, particularly using Jira. Experience in Workday HCM configuration or integrations. Experience working with ServiceNow. Familiarity with Automation technologies such as Automation Anywhere, ServiceNow RPA, Knime, UiPath, etc. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP. Compensation: This position presents a competitive compensation range based on the candidate's skills and experience. The expected base salary for this role is between $107,600 - $132,150, with potential bonuses based on performance.
