Job Description

As a critical contributor to the GI HR team, you will help drive the execution of our annual HR processes and support daily needs related to HR operations, recruiting & onboarding, employee relations, early career programs, employee engagement, and talent development. You'll work with employees at all levels, helping create a consistent and positive employee experience while reinforcing strong people practices across the division. In addition to supporting the GI business, this role is part of the broader PCG HR community-providing exposure across the organization and connecting you with a collaborative network of HR colleagues and leaders. You'll have access to shared resources, guidance, and expertise across the HR function, making this an ideal role for someone who wants to grow their HR capabilities while supporting a dynamic and diverse business. This is not a hybrid/remote role and will report to our Downtown Minneapolis, MN offices 5x a week. HR Administration & Compliance Maintain data integrity across HR systems (HR Cloud, Kronos, etc.) Assist with EEO and annual Affirmative Action Program (AAP) processes. Ensure HR practices comply with U.S. and Canadian employment laws and internal policies. Prepare and maintain HR reports, metrics, and documentation. Assist with Leave of Absence management & tracking. Employee Relations Promote positive employee relations and a safe, productive work environment. Respond to employee questions regarding policies, procedures, and HR programs. Support and/or conduct investigations and employee relations cases, partnering with HR Manager and Legal when appropriate. Provide guidance to supervisors on performance, conduct, corrective actions, and policy application. Recruitment & Onboarding Support Partner with Talent Acquisition by reviewing job descriptions, interviewing candidates, and making hiring recommendations. Support onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and transfers. Talent Management & Development Support performance management cycles, including goal-setting, appraisals, and development planning. Partner with HRBPs and Centers of Expertise to execute talent processes and enterprise initiatives. Employee Experience & Engagement Support employee engagement efforts such as survey analysis, focus groups, and followup action planning. Provide on-site event, program and employee services support as needed. Program & Project Support Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, HR project work, and changemanagement activities across the GI division. Assist in the execution of enterprisewide HR programs to ensure consistent adoption across US and Canada. Provide program support for earlytalent initiatives, including R&D Internships, Leadership Development Programs, and Technical Services Trainee Programs. Formal Education: Required: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Academic Degree Preferred: SHRM-CP certification or equivalent preferred Knowledge & Experience: Required: Must have 3-5 years of previous experience in Human Resources or a related field Must be knowledgeable in computer systems (Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, and Power Point) Demonstrate skills in database management and record keeping Experience working in a fast paced, deadline driven work environment Strong Analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills Preferred Working knowledge of employment law, AAP, performance management practices, and employee relations practices Proficiency with HR systems Knowledge and application of current HR trends, best practices, and compliance issues. Technical/Skill Requirements: Must be knowledgeable in computer systems (Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Power Point, and Access) Demonstrate skills in database management and record keeping. Creating onboarding programs. Demonstrate experience with legal documentation (Wage surveys, Performance appraisals/reviews, etc.) Travel: Up to 20% as needed for meetings, training, or site support
