Role Summary: The Compliance Analyst plays a vital role in supporting Datavant's comprehensive compliance program, ensuring that we adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. This position involves key compliance functions, including managing the compliance hotline, overseeing compliance training, conducting monitoring and auditing activities, and assisting with external audit requests. In this role, you will foster a culture of integrity, transparency, and accountability, contributing to the continuous improvement of our compliance practices. A solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills are essential for success. Key Responsibilities: Support and enhance Datavant's compliance program across all seven elements of compliance. Act as the main point of contact for the Compliance Hotline, ensuring timely logging and resolution of reports. Analyze trends in compliance reports and prepare insights for leadership. Assist in internal investigations, maintaining thorough documentation and reporting. Support both internal and external compliance audits by gathering and organizing evidence. Serve as a liaison for Compliance Program management to ensure regulatory compliance. Contribute to the development and revision of compliance policies and procedures. Manage compliance training and onboarding requirements, ensuring timely completion. Assist in creating and updating compliance training materials. Prepare presentations, reports, and dashboards to communicate compliance activities. Continuously improve compliance workflows and documentation for enhanced efficiency. Promote Datavant's culture of ethical behavior through proactive communication. Perform other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: 2-4 years of experience in compliance, particularly supporting the seven elements of a compliance program. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly to various audiences. Analytical mindset to assess compliance risks and propose practical solutions. Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment. Experience supporting audits and responding to auditor requests effectively. Proficiency in data analysis and visualization for compliance reporting. Comprehensive understanding of compliance program elements aligned with regulatory expectations. Experience in the healthcare sector. Background working in large organizations. Ability to exercise independent judgment and manage multiple projects efficiently. Desired Qualifications: Familiarity with U.S. healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH, CCPA). Experience conducting monitoring and auditing activities, like control assessments. The estimated total cash compensation for this role ranges from $72,000 to $85,000 USD. To ensure the safety of all staff, certain clients may require health screenings and vaccinations, with exemption requests reviewed individually.
