Job Title: Technology Lead - Data on Cloud Platform (AWS) Location: Fort Mill, SC 29715 Work Model: Onsite Contract Duration: 6 Months Experience Required: 8-10 Years Interview Process: Video Interview Pay Rate: $50-$55 Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Technology Lead - Data on Cloud Platform (AWS) with strong expertise in AWS Glue, Python, and PySpark. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and building scalable data pipelines, cloud-native architectures, and event-driven data platforms using AWS services. This role requires strong technical leadership and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams in delivering data-driven solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and automate end-to-end data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using AWS Glue and PySpark. Develop and maintain Python-based data processing frameworks, automation utilities, and data integration components. Build and deploy Flask-based REST APIs for data services, operational integrations, and internal platforms. Design scalable event-driven architectures using AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, EventBridge, S3, RDS, MSK, and Kinesis. Work with cloud and relational databases including Snowflake, Aurora, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL Server with strong SQL and data modeling skills. Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code using tools such as Terraform to enable automated deployments. Ensure high-performance, scalable, and reliable data platforms aligned with best practices in cloud architecture. Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable data solutions. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams while ensuring adherence to best engineering practices. Required Skills Strong experience with AWS Glue, Python, and PySpark Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, EventBridge, S3, RDS, MSK, and Kinesis Experience working with Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Aurora, or MS SQL Server Strong SQL, data modeling, and data pipeline development experience Experience with CI/CD, Terraform, and DevOps practices Preferred Qualifications Experience with Flask-based API development Hands-on knowledge of event-driven architecture and distributed systems AWS Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or AWS DevOps Engineer are a plus.
