Building Maintenance Assistant

SUMMARY: As a Building Maintenance team member, reporting to the Building Maintenance Manager, you will support our daily operations with various maintenance responsibilities throughout our 500,000+ square foot facility. This position is hands-on and requires the successful individual to perform all daily and weekly upkeep, including waste removal, HVAC monitoring, plumbing, and painting. This is an hourly 1st shift role paying $20/hr. WHAT YOU'LL DO ON THE A-TEAM: Garbage and waste removal from all areas of the facility. Performing filter changes on HVAC equipment. Light painting when needed. Ability to drive forklift and gain certification. Minor plumbing including cleaning of outside drains. Office furniture assembly, assisting office moves, rebuilding of office spaces, etc. WHAT YOU'LL NEED: Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be able to work occasional weekends and holidays. Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Mechanical aptitude and knowledge. Ability to use an assortment of hand tools and power tools safely and proficiently. Ability to measure using measuring tapes and/or rulers efficiently. Must not have a fear of heights or hydraulic lifts. Requires the ability to communicate fluently in English to provide effective and clear written and oral communication.
