Location: Hybrid (Florida) Job Type: Full-Time Job Description We are seeking a Hydraulic Engineer to join our growing team. This role focuses on infrastructure projects, particularly tunnels, roadway systems, and drainage infrastructure. The position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive, multicultural environment while contributing to technically challenging civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in hydraulic and hydrologic analysis for transportation infrastructure projects and will be comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams. Responsibilities Perform hydraulic and hydrologic analyses related to roadway drainage systems, culverts, stormwater management, and flood protection infrastructure. Prepare drainage reports, technical memoranda, and engineering calculations in accordance with applicable design standards. Develop and review hydraulic models using industry-standard software. Collaborate with civil, geotechnical, and structural engineers to integrate hydraulic and drainage considerations into project designs. Assist in the preparation of design plans and technical documentation using tools such as MicroStation, OpenRoads, AutoCAD, or Civil 3D. Participate in project meetings and provide technical input during design development. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. 3+ years of experience in hydraulic or drainage design for infrastructure or transportation projects. Experience with FDOT or TxDOT drainage design standards is preferred. Familiarity with hydraulic modeling tools such as HEC-RAS and spatial analysis tools such as ArcGIS is preferred. Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred or the ability to obtain it within a reasonable timeframe. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment. Strong English communication skills; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
