Manager, Pharmacy Operations - Oncology

What Pharmacy Operations contributes to Cardinal Health:Pharmacy Operations is responsible for the safe, efficient and effective coordination of Cardinal Health's pharmacy operations that service acute care hospitals, hospital retail customers, ambulatory care and alternate site facilities, oncology and cardiology practices as well as retail customers.Pharmacy Operations is responsible for strategic leadership direction, account management, and fiscal performance for assigned customers. Responsible for long-term relationship building and managing the success of the relationships with customers in order to achieve the goals and objectives identified by the customer and Cardinal Health.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred 8-12 years of pharmacy experience, preferred PharmD or MBA, preferred 5+ years community oncology experience, preferred Responsibilities Support Navista practices specific to infusion operations and Medically Integrated Dispensing (MID) strategy. Strong communication skills and understanding of GPO contracts and their execution Create clinical comparisons for Navista Pharmacy and Therapeutics committee Keep up to date with new drug approvals, indications, and novel therapies in oncology Efficient user of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook What is expected of you and others at this level Applies advanced knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projects Participates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals Recommends new practices, processes, metrics, or models Works on or may lead complex projects of large scope Projects may have significant and long-term impact Provides solutions which may set precedent Independently determines method for completion of new projects Receives guidance on overall project objectives Acts as a mentor to less experienced colleagues Travel up to 25% Anticipated salary range: $121,600 - $156,330Bonus eligible: YesBenefits: Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being.
